The Rich Cream - Acne Struggles + What Finally Worked for Me

I want to start by saying: If you are experiencing acne right now, I see you. I feel you. Your feelings are valid.

I had awful acne breakouts for almost four years. It was pretty depreciating—so much so that I was grateful the pandemic made it socially normal to wear masks. I cried about my skin for countless hours, got a work-from-home job, and stayed in the house 99% of the time. It was bad. Before my “affliction,” I didn’t think about acne/skin problems and didn’t empathize when someone else spoke about skin problems. I won’t belabor this point too much because its one of those experiences that you can only truly understand if you’ve been there, you understand.

I’m not exaggerating when I say: I tried everything. And then, Augustinus Bader—specifically, the Rich Cream. It’s pricey, to be sure, but it was the only thing that worked for me. I knew about the brand for a year before I bit the bullet, and I wish I had followed my intuition sooner because I wouldn’t have so much acne scarring to deal with now.

The brands claims if for 27 days, you use only the Cream or the Rich Cream ,you will see visible results for your skin woes.

I took on the challenge, hiding away every other product with its promises that ended in heart break and used a gentle face wash then moisturized with the Rich Cream morning and night—no serums or other products that might upset the skin. With the Bader routine, my acne was gone in a week and hasn’t returned in years!

My next hunt is for a product or regimen that will remove all the scarring without agitating my skin. Stay tuned!
